Agares Blight was the King of the Highland Kingdom.
When the entourage of the Highland Royalty was attacked, Agares fled in fear. Luca, who had been with his parents, saw his mother raped by thugs. Agares Blight changed after this terrible tragedy, as his wife Sara died shortly after the birth of her daughter, Jillia. Consequently, Agares could not be a good father to Luca, who hated what happened to his mother and never forgave his father for fleeing. In fact, many people thought him to be a useless king.
