Game[]
When Teo's son Tir McDohl became a fugitive from the Empire, Gide allowed Tir's party to pass through Kwaba Fortress, despite the qualms of his subordinate, Rosh.
However, he remained loyal to the Empire throughout the Gate Rune War, and was not encountered again by Tir until the final battle at Gregminster, as Kwaba Fortress was never attacked. Gide waited outside the gates of Gregminster Palace for the Liberation Army, putting himself between the castle and the attackers and refusing to yield. Tir and his party fought Gide, despite their own hesitation to do so, and won. As a result, Gide perished in his attempt to defend his Emperor and, in his last words, promised that he would go on ahead of Barbarosa.
