Overview[]
War events involve dividing all allies into fixed teams of up to three members. Each team corresponds to one of four options: "Charge," "Bow," "Magic," or "Other." The first three—Charge, Bow, and Magic—function like a rock-paper-scissors system. Each team can act only once per battle.
Battle Outcomes:[]
- Charge vs. Charge: Both sides take damage.
- Charge vs. Bow: Both sides take damage, but Bow suffers more significant losses.
- Charge vs. Magic: Only Charge takes heavy damage.
- Bow vs. Bow: Both sides take damage.
- Bow vs. Magic: Only Magic takes heavy damage.
- Magic vs. Magic: One side randomly takes heavy damage.
The relationship between the actions is as follows: Charge > Bow > Magic > Charge, with some nuances.
Other Actions[]
These are primarily support roles and do not consume the team's action. They include:
- Boosting the attack power of Charge.
- Scouting enemy actions (a critical strategy given the rock-paper-scissors mechanic).
Key Strategies:[]
- Use scouting to predict enemy actions and select the best counter move.
- Leverage support actions to enhance Charge attacks.
- Protect vulnerable, low-HP characters by minimizing unnecessary risks.
To gain intelligence about the enemy on the battlefield, reconnaissance is essential. Ninjas and "thieves" who join the Liberation Army excel in reconnaissance and are perfect for uncovering the enemy’s plans. However, thieves can be unreliable, so it’s advisable to rely on ninjas to reliably expose the enemy's attacks. By the way, thieves occasionally steal 2,000 Potch. The basic rule of warfare is to first uncover the enemy’s plans and then choose an attack method that has a good match-up, dealing significant damage. If done well, victory can be achieved without losses.
Even if you uncover the enemy’s tactics, it’s meaningless unless you can respond appropriately. Moreover, some enemy units use attack methods that are difficult to identify. Use the knowledge you gain here to secure certain victory.
It is sheer folly to confront the unknown head-on. Instead, identify the various types of special attacks used by enemy commanders and counter them accordingly. There are also foes, like Teo, whom you cannot defeat on the first attempt.
When your forces take damage, death checks are applied to certain team members, typically those not directly involved in key events. Characters with lower HP, such as Luc or Eileen, tend to have a higher chance of dying.

Quick Overview of the Battles and Strategies[]
Battle | Enemy Commander | Enemy Troops | Basic Strategy |
---|---|---|---|
Battle at Pannu Yakuta Castle | Kwanda Rosman | 9,000 | First, use a thief to uncover the enemy’s strategy. If they fail, it’s safest to choose a bow attack. |
Battle at Fortress of Garan | None | 6,000 | Use the same tactics as the previous battle. If you cannot discern the enemy’s strategy, use a charge attack enhanced by your strategist. |
Battle at Scarleticia Castle (1st) | Milich Oppenheimer | 12,000 | You've come this far with momentum, but you cannot win due to the poisonous pollen. |
Battle at Scarleticia Castle (2nd) | Milich Oppenheimer | 12,000 | Stick to the basics and uncover the enemy’s strategy. Since magic attacks are common, opt for a bow attack if your reconnaissance fails. |
Battle with Teo (1st) | Teo McDohl | 12,000 | At this point, you cannot defeat Teo’s Armored Cavalry. Follow Mathiu’s advice. |
Battle with Teo (2nd) | Teo McDohl | 12,000 | Keep using charge attacks repeatedly, and even the "Invincible General" can be defeated. The Fire Spear is truly fearsome. |
Battle at the Northern Checkpoint | Griffith | 3,700 | You have overwhelming numbers. While you’re unlikely to lose, use a ninja to scout the enemy’s plans just in case. |
Battle at Floating Fortress Shasarazade | Sonya Shulen | 18,000 | Sonya uses both charge and magic attacks, but if you deploy three ninjas, you cannot lose. |
The Last Battle | Yuber | 20,000 | Although the enemy has many troops, the strength of three ninjas ensures your safety. End the battle quickly. |
