During the Sun Rune War, he joined in the Loyalist Army and stayed at the Loyalist Army's headquarter and helped them until the end of the war. After the war, he grew into a magnificent three-horned dragon horse. He and Nick became the Cavalry duo to watch.
Role in the GameEdit
There are two ways to recruit Ax:
Ax has overall lower base stats than the other dragon horses and starts at a much lower level. While his rider Nick can be worth the effort to level him up, Ax doesn't really shine since he is a character without noticeable features or skills and doesn't bring as much to the party as normal characters. Also, magic is not an option for Ax so his late rune slot should be used for combat purposes.
If you like the Ax/Nick combo with its unite attack, Ax can be used. If you look for a good party member, you have to look elsewhere.

Weapon Growth: None
Ax can not be used as a military unit.
1: Ax is a baby dragon horse still training in Gordius. When Nick officially becomes a Dragon Cavalry soldier, he and Ax will be partners. They pretty much already are.
2: He´s full of curiousity and can be restless at times. But curiosity is a sign of intelligence, so the Dragon Cavalry considers it something of a virtue.
3: It´s hard to see, since he´s still just a baby, but he´s got three horns. Three horned dragon horses are very rare, so they expect him to be something special one day.

- Sorry About That!
It looks like Ax saw Nick writing a letter, and wanted to try it himself...- From Yoran
