She originally hailed from Taxis, and was a mere instructor for Holy Imperial Army's magician platoons, but she joined the war and fought at the front line. For some reason, she stayed at the Fortress even after the war ended.

- Berenice (ベレニケ in Japanese) (sometimes written Berenike) was a name used in the ancient Mediterranean world. It means "bearer of victory." There are several historical figures with this name including several queens and daughters in Egypt, two saints, and some Judean princesses.
