Bernand is a character mentioned in publications related to Suikoden II. The first King of the Dunan Monarchy, Bernand managed to unite much of the lands that would eventually become the Dunan region during his reign.

Biography[]

The first King of the Dunan Monarchy, Bernand managed to unite what became the Dunan region: the modern-day Dunan Republic principalities of South Window, Muse, Greenhill and Two River; he incorporated these vast holdings into a kingdom by the year 110.

However, Bernand's Kingdom was doomed to a relatively short reign of government due to the weak policies of Bernand's successors; by SY 185, Muse, under the leadership of Revier, broke away from the Dunan Kingdom, with other principalities quickly following suit.
