Black Blade (黒き刃の剣; Kurokiyaiba no Ken) is a type of weapon in Suikoden Tierkreis.

A one-handed sword with a distinctive jet black blade. It was a tradition to bestow this sword on someone once they became a formal swordsman in the Blades of Night's Veil. It was known as the symbol of the Royal Knights of Astrasia, and it was the origin for the name of the Blades of Night's Veil. Only blacksmiths under direct control of the royal family could forge this blade, and the technique was put to use based on knowledge gained from the Chronicle of the Sacred Twin Blades. In the era of the battle against the One King, only Gadburg could work on this precious blade. For this reason, Chrodechild placed a tremendous amount of trust in him.
