Cedric is the Tensoku Star in Suikoden IV.
He is also a playable character in Suikoden Tactics.

Cedric is a young boy who was born with a True Holy Rune, which raised his speed and he used it to run away from his debt.

Cedric has long blond hair and green eyes. He wears an aquamarine vest, a white sweatshirt and a brown short.

Suikoden IV[]
Cedric ate at the inn on the Kingdom of Obel then ran away as he was chased by the innkeeper. He went to the cave where the Dauntless was located and hid at the bar where Louise was working. Razro found him and Louise recommended that Cedric joins in. Razro agreed to the arrangement and he became a member of the Island Liberation Navy.
While he was on board on the Dauntless, he enjoyed staying in the ship because there was plenty to eat. When Rachel was later recruited, she always kept an eye on him so that he couldn't eat and run away anymore. After the war, he went back to freeloading and skipping bills with Rachel running after him.
Suikoden Tactics[]
At the Fall of Kooluk, after Kyril responded to the "Catch the Eat-and-Run Bandit" quest at the Quest Guild, he found Rachel and Cedric on the port of Merseto, where Rachel tried to catch Cedric. With Kyril's help, Rachel successfully caught Cedric. Rachel along with Cedric joined Kyril's band and helped him in his search for Rune Cannons. One night, Rachel asked Cedric on what he thinks about her. However due to Karl's noise she was interrupted. As a result she got angry and chased Karl. While Rachel was busy chasing Karl, he said that Rachel was scary. He also napped in battle which made Rachel angry. After the fighting ended, no one knew what happened to Cedric.
Role in the Game[]
After the battle with the mermaid poacher ship, visit the Inn at Obel and view the scene with Cedric. Speak with the woman near the Inn and then follow Cedric up to your headquarters. Once you arrive, speak with Louise at the counter, and Cedric will be recruited. (Note: Louise should not be in the party, otherwise the recruitment will not occur; if that happens, you have to remove her from the party and repeat the "scene following process" all again)
If you did not visit the Inn at Obel, you can also find him near the inn when getting people to headquarters before it is launched to sea. He will join when you speak to him.
Note: Cedric cannot be recruited after your headquarters is launched into the sea.
It offer the possibility to runs the Ship more faster while on ocean. Push the R button to moves the ship faster.
Cedric is a support character with the Found Treasure ability. The probability of obtaining items after battle is increased by 2%.
- Keen: You have done well by coming here. In this room, you may confess what is in your heart and accept proper judgement.
- Cedric: I-I had no idea...
- Keen: Would you secretly inform me about anyone on board this ship who you think is causing problems?
- Cedric: Ms. Rachel is a little scary... Which is kind of distracting...
- Cedric: He's a kind person. He always greets me when I see him.
- Keen: Finally, quietly confess the things you wish to atone for, or all the things that you are thankful for.
- Cedric: It's nice being on this ship because there's plenty to eat. Hehe... That's about all that I can think of.
- Keen: Then, I shall pass judgement!
I guess you need money when you eat outside. They all say, "Want to have a bite?" so I did, but...
It seems I had something called the True Holy Rune soon after I was born. I thought it was pointless to have such a thing, but I hope you can make good use of it.
I don't have any more debt, but Ms. Rachel keeps coming after me. It's scary.
Accept the "Catch the Eat-and-Run Bandit" quest, then talk to Rachel in the port of Merseto. Hit Cedric in the ensuing battle without killing him, and he'll join your party.
Cedric cannot attack enemy units but, he can raise the Avoidance of friendly units using his Vision skill. Also his True Godspeed Skill level rise, his own Movement rate increases.
