Connell's father is a Phonologist and he is following his dad footsteps. He went to the Holy Kingdom of Harmonia to study phonology. He also study Rune mastery when he was in Crystal Valley. He lives in the Forest Village along with her sister.

Genso Suikogaiden Vol. 1[]
At the first siege of Highland Army in Greenhill, he used his ability as a phonologist to help Teresa Wisemail on protecting Greenhill.
Suikoden II[]
After some time, he left Greenhill and went back to his home, at the Forest Village. There, he met Riou and was invited to join the New State Army, he agreed to join in after Riou showed one Sound Set and went to Dunan Castle. After the war, he returned to the Forest Village and headed for Crystal Valley to continue his studies.
Role in the Game[]
After the Dunan Castle reaches Level 3, show Connell any of the Sound Sets in Forest Village.
Connell can change your sound effects of your actions. The Sound Sets are needed to change the sound effect.
