Cynas (サイナス; Sainasu) is a location in Suikoden Tierkreis.
Overview[]
Located to the north of Fort Arc, on the northern part of the continent, Cynas was home to the headquarters of The Order of the One True Way. It is said to be the biggest city in terms of scale and population on the continent. In the center of the city the enormous tower called the Tower of the Way was built. The majority of the citizens were zealous members of the order and everyone revered Chancellor Valfred.
Cynas was originally the home of the tribe of Scribes who appeared during the first fusion of the worlds. They left the city to hide in the Noslaw Woods, fearful of their chronicle being used.
After the twelfth fusion of the worlds, twelve pillars of light appeared surrounding the city. The Tower of the Way was transformed and a gigantic Statue of the One King appeared. It became the site of the final decisive battle with the One King.
Following the war, it is said that the rebuilding of the city got underway under the leadership of Chrodechild and Vaslof. The Scribes also returned to Cynas.
