Dancing Stage is a minigame in Suikoden II.
Details[]
In order to recruit Karen the dancer, Riou has to share a dance with her at Kuskus. Once she is at North Window Castle, she offers him to hone his skills and train some more with her.
How to dance[]
After agreeing to dance with Karen, you get on the stage and watch her show the moves. Then you copy what she just did, trying to keep up with the rhythm. There are five levels of difficulty, each time adding some length to the dance as well as some new moves.
Levels[]
- Level 1 : Standard dance, the same as the one in Kuskus. Shape buttons are used. You receive a Karen Statue A for a successful dance.
- Level 2 : Standard dance, the same as the one in Kuskus, but twice as long. Shape buttons are used. You receive a Karen Statue B for a successful dance.
- Level 3 : The dance is thrice as long and different than the one from Kuskus. Shape buttons are used. You receive a Karen Statue C for a successful dance.
- Level 4 : The dance is chosen randomly, shape buttons and shoulder buttons are used. You receive a Karen Painting A for a successful dance.
- Level 5 : The dance is chosen randomly, longer and harder than the level 4 one, shape buttons and shoulder buttons are used. You receive a Karen Painting B for a successful dance.
Gameplay info[]
If you press the "Select" button right before dancing, a controller will appear on the screen, showing the next button to press.
