Dongo is a really nice dwarf, even though his master called him a "dimwit", a "hack" and fired him, he is very appreciative and thankful for everything his master taught him and he wanted to make his master proud of him.
During the Sun Rune War, he met Freyjadour Falenas who gives him hammers. After forging Freyjadour's weapon, he feels very happy and when Freyjadour asked him if he could join the Loyalist Army, he accept the offer happily. Before he leave his master call him and fired him. At the Ceras Lake Castle, he became the Loyalist Army's blacksmith. After the war, despite Dongo's new recognition as a smith, Wabon keeps browbeating him. He doesn't mind so much anymore.

- Dongo´s a cave dwarf blacksmith. His master´s a tyrant, always yelling and calling him a "hack" or a "dimwit." But he´s actually a damn good smith.
- He loves forging weapons. He says that a fine blade is the true art of a blacksmith´s talent.
- You know those metal fittings that secure the rails of Wabon´s mining carts? Dongo´s the one who made those. They say he helped with the mining carts themselves, too. Wabon´s got no business giving that guy a hard time.
Got a sword? I can make it as sharp as you like. Got a whip or a book? That's a little trickier. Still, I'm a craftsman, sort of, so I'd see what I could do.
He said he wanted to sell better armor, so he asked me, of all people, to make him some. Yeah, but all I've ever done other than weapons is stuff like spikes and rail fittings, so I was no help at all. It's disappointing, all around...

The hammer I'm using now is getting really tough to work with. It's too bad...
