DoremiElf (ドレミのせい, Doremi no Sei) is an enemy in Suikoden II.

Description

The DoremiElf is the name for an enemy that always appears in a group, with each enemy dressed in a different color. They sing in a clear voice to attack their target. For some reason, the red one that appears in Greenhill Forest the second time you visit has different stats.

They appear in two places during the game (Path to Matilda and Greenhill Forest the second time). They all do a magical short-range attack on one party member, or a long-range attack against all.

According to the Prima Guide, the effects of their attacks differ.

• Aqua: 10% chance of causing Small, 10% chance of causing Stimulant
• Blue: 10% chance of causing Poison, 15% chance of causing Panic
• Green: 10% chance of causing Silence, 15% chance of causing Boost
• Pink: 15% chance of causing Anger, 15% chance of causing Sleep
• Red: 20% chance of causing Balloon, 20% chance of causing Toasty
• Yellow: 20% chance of causing Bucket, 25% chance of causing Unbalanced)

Notes

• According to the Prima Strategy Guide, only the yellow ones drop items. The official guide by Konami does not list them separately.
• This enemy has the same Japanese name as the Song Sprite from Suikoden III.
