The Dungeon (ダンジョン; Danjon) is a minigame from Genso Suikoden: The Woven Web of a Century. It's located at the upper left corner of the headquarters.
Overview[]
This minigame is managed by Gino. In this minigame, players can invest their money in order to set traps in dungeons. If the traps are successful, the player will obtain rewards such as money and items from the captured monsters. These rewards are received upon returning to the headquarters, along with products that can be used in the workshops to craft materials or upgrade weapons and armor.
The maximum amount of money that one can invest into making these traps is 1000 potch. The higher the amount of money that you invest, the higher the chance that the traps will be successful.
There are three kind of dungeons and each have different monsters that can be captured. The Earth Dungeon includes monsters that usually have no particular elements, while the Fire and Ice Dungeons have monsters with those corresponding elements.
Also, each dungeon has a different base amount for hunting, with the Earth Dungeon being the cheapest and Ice Dungeon being the most expensive.
Defeated List[]
This list of monsters is updated each time the player fights new enemies. In order to complete the dungeons, it is recommended that you fight monsters as soon as you can. Some monsters are only available through Hunting.

Tips[]
Always remember to invest your money in Dungeons, because the reward money that you'll receive upon returning to headquarters will usually be a lot more than the money that you invested. You can also sell the reward items that you don't need. This is actually the most effective way to gather money, since you just need to invest, leave headquarters, then return right away and you'll get the rewards (amount of time spent outside HQ doesn't effect the amount of rewards).
