El-Qaral (エル・カーラル; Eru Kaararu) is a location in Suikoden Tierkreis.
Overview[]
El-Qaral was the capital of the Magedom of Janam. It was where the Mage Lord and his Empress Consorts lived. It also served as the base of operations for the Blades of Night's Veil after The Order of the One True Way took over the Kingdom of Astrasia.
Although it was smaller in scale than Cynas, it was extremely lively and was a brightly colored town overflowing with an exotic mood. Research into the Mage Arts flourished, and as the political and cultural center of the empire. its glory could be boasted about.
However Valfred fused the 10th world directly on top of it, erasing millions of people, including the Mage Lord and his Empress Consorts. The city became buried in the sand in the blink of an eye. It was transformed into ruins that appeared to have been there for many years. Everything in the capital was covered in sand and turned into ruins except for the underground area of the Arcane Academy. It escaped destruction and remained in its original form.
