The Fire Rune is a type of rune in the Suikoden series.
Description
It allows the use of fire magic, which damages foes but certain attacks can also damage allies. The Fire Rune has appeared in every main Suikoden game. There is a stronger version of the Fire Rune called the Rage Rune.
According to the Suikoden manga, the Fire Rune come from deep within the earth and can grant strong pure magic. A person with Fire Rune needs to control his/her emotions.
Suikoden I
When a Fire crystal is attached to a character, it becomes a Fire Rune.
- Flaming Arrows: 100 damage to 1 enemy.
- Fire Storm: 150 damage to all enemies.
- Dancing Flames: 400 damage to all enemies.

Suikoden III
- Flaming Arrows: 60 damage to 1 enemy.
- Dancing Flames: 150 damage to all enemies and allies in area.
- Blazing Wall: 400 damage to all enemies and allies in area.
- Explosion: 700 damage to all enemies and allies in area.
Suikoden IV
- Flaming Arrows: 100 damage to 1 enemy.
- Dancing Flames: 150 damage to all enemies.
- Blazing Wall: 300 damage to all enemies.
- Explosion: 500 damage to all enemies.
Suikoden Tactics
- Fire Force Change terrain to Fire element.
- Flaming Arrows Damage one unit + change terrain to Fire.
- Blazing Wall Damage all units standing on Fire element terrain.
- Explosion Damage multiple units + change terrain to Fire.
