The Flowing Sword Rune (流水剣の紋章, Ryūsui Ken no Monshō) is a type of rune in the Suikoden series.
Suikoden V[]
A rune that adds the element of water to the users weapon and also grants greater water resistance.
- Sword of Flowing: Users weapon element becomes water, 1.1x damage
- Water Guard: Greater protection from water during battles
- True Flowing: Users weapon element becomes water, 1.2x damage
Description[]
A type of magic sword rune that imbues the caster's weapon with the power of water, which differs from both the elemental affiliations of the Five Elements and the quasi-magic types. The three spells that can be used are: "Sword of Flowing," "Water Guard," and "True Flowing." Among these, "Water Guard" does not imbue the weapon with an element, but it is said to be a spell excellent for both offense and defense because it has the effect of increasing the affinity between the caster and water.
Suikoden Tactics[]
A rune used to change the elemental terrain to water.
- Water Force: Change terrain elements in affected areas to water.
- Flowing Force: Change terrain elements in affected areas to water. Larger area than water force.
- Sword of Flowing: Add "Magic Sword" status to the user under the water element. Chance to cause Silence on the target.
