Frederica is the Chikatsu Star in Suikoden IV.
She is also a playable character in Suikoden Tactics.

Frederica is a serious woman from the Scarlet Moon Empire. She enjoys reading books when she have some spare time. Her village was destroyed by Graham Cray.

Suikoden IV[]
During the Island Liberation War, she suspected that Cray was the cause on why her village vanished and she went to Razril in order to find Cray. She met Razro in Razril and she decided to join him to gather more information about Cray. On her first time in Obel, she found that the island was beautiful and she have taken a liking to it. After the war, she returned home to help resolve the tension between Scarlet Moon and Kooluk.
Suikoden Tactics[]
At the Fall of Kooluk, she met Kyril, she decided to join Kyril's group and helped them to destroy the Rune Cannon. While she was in Kyril's party, she became close with Seneca and Flare, and she told Seneca that having a friend is not bad and it makes her feel sentimental. Flare asked her to work in Obel after the battle and she considered Flare's offer.
Role in the Game[]
After liberating Razril, speak with Frederica at the item shop in Razril. Frederica will not become available to recruit until you have witnessed the sunset in Razril.
Frederica is an average archer-mage hybrid. She can have 2 open rune slot and she has above average affinity with lightning and wind magic. It is up to the player to give her one of each rune for magical versatility, 2 passives like fury or double-strike, or an elemental and a passive one, capitalizing on her hybrid type, which ever suits the party best.
All in all, she is a jack of all trade who while doesnt excel at anthing, isnt really bad at anything either. She is best used once she reaches late 40's / early 50's lvs where her second slot opens up and her stats stat catching up to other party members.

Frederica is a good long range character in Suikoden Tactics.
