He is a popular Kobold warrior from the Kobold Village. He is a member of the mercenaries lead by Viktor.

Gengen fought through the whole Dunan Unification War, helping Riou against the Highland Army. After the war, he achieved his desire to become captain of the New State Army Kobold Unit.
Role in the Game[]
Gengen joins automatically after returning to the Mercenary Fortress.
Gengen is the king of average. While not really being being bad at everything, he's not great either and often other characters will fill specific roles better. His unite atack with Shiro can be useful too. Overall, Gengen is good for the early to mid game, but will quickly get outclassed. Still, he will never be an awful choice in a party if you really want to keep him around. As a plus, he can be loaded up with armor, a shield, and necklaces to tank hits in the front row if needed. One of his worst flaws is his low magic defense, which is liable to get him knocked out more easily against enemy magic users and special attacks.

- Gengen seems to like deep wells. At the mercenary fort, he can be seen looking down the outside well. Pressing the action button at a certain well, will prompt the following message: "Gengen would like that well".
