Gijimu is the Chikyou Star in Suikoden II.
He also appears in Genso Suikogaiden Vol. 2.

Gijimu is the older brother of Lo Wen and Koyu. He lives in a fortress called Sai which lies north of Tigermouth Village. He is the leader of the Lampdragon Bandits.

Suikoden II[]
During Dunan Unification War, he helped Riou to fight against Highland Army. After the war, he fought in Grassland war as captain of the Tinto city forces.
Role in the Game[]
Gijimu is just like any solid physical attacker. He is armed with sharp axes and can wear the heavy class armor, which includes some of the heaviest and best armor available, like the Windspun Armor. He also has the additional benefit of survivability of being able to attack from the back row, although he is already a perfectly capable frontline tank in his own right. He already comes with the powerful Double Beat Rune, making him pretty much set for the rest of the game.

Gijimu already comes equipped with one of the best physical attack passive runes in the game in form of the Double Beat Rune. That makes swapping that with another alternative with even a Fury Rune almost totally unnecessary. As a physical attacker with a one-rune limitation, having a rune attached to his weapon that will also benefit physical attack like the Exertion Rune or Friendship Rune helps.
