Grayridge (グレイリッジ; Gureirijji) is a location in Suikoden Tierkreis.
Overview[]
A town located to the north of Citro Village, past the Flesaria Forest, where a branch of The Order of the One True Way was located. In the past, it flourished due the adjacent mine, but after the closing of the mine, the town lost its liveliness. The town then started to rely on guidance from the Order. It seemed that the town received rather large benefits and favors from the Order as the buildings and roads were solidly built and maintained.
The first time Sieg and the others visited, they were surprised that all of the prices at the shops were so high. They discovered that the cause of the prices was a tax implemented by the Order's representatives Macoute and Gilliam. They discovered that Macoute was embezzling funds and profiting from the citizens. He was hiding this wealth inside the mines.
Even after the evil deeds of the Order's secretary Macoute were discovered, hardly any of the town's inhabitants’ faith and trust in the Order wavered, possibly due to all of the benefits the town received.
After Macoute's downfall, the town became the forward base of operations for the Order. However, the Order's forces withdrew in order to devote themselves to the defense of Fort Arc. This was the chance for the town to finally get out from under the influence of the Order.
Once the war ended, Gilliam became the mayor and rebuilding efforts were moved forward.
