This special type of vegetal has incredibly powerful healing properties. It was well known by the Sindar civilization and apparently held in great esteem back then. Over the years, knowledge of this miraculous plant got lost, probably replaced by other types of medicine. However, the Sindar left some samples of this herb, sealed away in one of their constructions, in the country that would be known as Dunan Republic, many centuries later. They engraved a text in the stone, warning the traveller with these words : All that you desire, all that you dream for, all that is most dear to you is there if your heart is true.
In addition to the plant's healing properties, it also has amazing conservation. Either that, or the chest in which the Sindar placed the bunch helped preserve it over the years. In SY 460, a treasure hunter by the name of Alex who had been trying to discover the secret behind the now Sindar Ruins next to the White Deer Inn, managed to fight his way to the treasure, with the help of a party led by Riou. After defeating Double Head, the guardian of the treasure, Alex opened the chest and was disappointed to discover the true nature of the Sindar treasure. Unaware of the herbs' properties, he discarded the bunch outside of the ruins, too ashamed to present his meager loot to his wife Hilda.
But when the small group went back into the White Deer Inn, they found Hilda lying on the floor, with a severe fever. No traditional remedy could bring her back to health so Riou decided to give the herbs a try and retrieved them from the ruins' doorstep. After he managed to have Hilda take some of the herbs, she regained consciousness quickly and her fever dropped. This helped Alex realize that happiness with his own family was a greater treasure than all the gold and jewels he could ever find.
