Notes[]
- The Japanese name for this item is ひいらぎの実. The kanji 実 has two possible readings: じつ (jitsu) and み (mi). Based on its position in the Genso Suikoden Encyclopaedia, which follows the standard Japanese gojūon order (a kana-based ordering system similar to alphabetical order), the correct reading is likely jitsu. The word appears between ひいらぎのせい and ひいらぎパパ. In gojūon order, mi would come after pa, while jitsu fits between sei and pa. Although mi is the more common reading for fruits, berries, nuts, and seeds, that reading would not fit the position. In general, the readings listed in the Encyclopaedia follow standard conventions, with a few exceptions. Since this item does not appear in Kiwami, the correct reading cannot be verified; therefore, this wiki does not list a definitive reading for the kanji.
