Kanak is a loyal member of the Lake Toran Pirates who controlled Lake Toran along with Anji and Leonardo. Despite his gentle and easygoing nature—often greeting others with a casual "Hey there"—he doesn’t seem like someone who once wreaked havoc against the Imperial Navy. However, when it comes to battle, his desire to protect his comrades unleashes astonishing strength.

Kanan have a black beard and wears a red pirate bandana on his head. He wears a yellow pants, green shirt and a red coat. His weapon of choice is a sickle & chain.
Personality[]
Kanak is not a very talkative guy. Much like Leonardo, he is a type of follower kind of guy and follows Anji, his leader, wherever he goes.

During the Gate Rune Wars, he followed Anji and even helps Anji to kidnap one of the girls from Toran Castle, requiring Tir and company to rescue the girl.
When Anji lost to Tir, Tai Ho, and Yam Koo, Kanak joined the Liberation Army alongside Anji and Leonardo. After the war, Kanak joined Anji and Leonardo in their honest shipping business.
