Lester is the Chizou Star in Suikoden.
He also makes an appearance in Suikoden II.

Lester is a chef and he is working under Kun To in Kirov. He is trying to make a stew that could match Marie's stew.
Appearance[]
Lester wears traditional chef attire, complete with a white toque (or chef's hat), a purple neckerchief, white double-breasted jacket with a white apron tied around his waist, and black shoes. He is tall and lean with a gaunt look in his face, exposing prominent cheek bones.

Suikoden I[]
During Toran Liberation War, he joined in the Liberation Army, after Tir McDohl tasted his stew. After the war, he opened a restaurant specializing in stews.
Suikoden II[]
During the Dunan Unification War, as rival chef #10, he went to the Headquarters of the New State Army in Dunan and challenged Hai Yo to a Cook-off Minigame to inspire him for his upcoming battle with Retso. After defeating him, he gave Recipe #33 (Sushi).
Role in the Game[]
In Kirov, enter the houses to the left and right of Sarah and taste the stew on the stove. Then enter the house south of Sarah and talk to him. Will not appear unless Toran Castle is at least Level 3.
Lester joins as a cook, although this doesn't grant any specific abilities or bonuses.
