Logg is the Chitan Star in Suikoden V.
Profile[]
Background[]
Logg is husband of Kisara and the father of Lun. He is adept at many different kind of works.
In his younger years, he helped criminals and gladiators out of jail and smuggled them out of the country. While doing this, he partnered up with Haleth who created fake passports and ID's for those criminals and gladiators.
His relationship with Kisara was kept secret until the day they announced their engagement.
Appearance[]
Logg is a well-build, muscular man, who carries an anchor to battle. His brown hair seems kinda scruffy and he has a long scar on his right cheek.
He wears an open, pink-colored shirt and brown trousers that also cover his feet completely. He has a big, golden and green-colored belt around his waist with golden ornaments. He also wears a pair of brown arm-protectors with golden ornament and leg-protectors in the style of his belt.
Personality[]
Story[]
Game[]
Before the start of the Sun Rune War, Logg and his daughter Lun went to Lunas to steal some gold, but they were caught by Freyjadour Falenas and Isato. Sialeeds suggested to bring them back to Raftfleet instead of the Sun Palace, to avoid diplomatic problems with Raftfleet.
After Freyjadour and the party successfully brought them to Raftfleet, Admiral Raja allowed Kisara to punish Logg and Lun accordingly.
Later, Logg helped Freyjadour by transporting him to Lordlake using his own ship and, later, by rescuing Lucretia Merces from Agate Prison where she was imprisoned. After the Loyalist Army helped defending Raftfleet against Bahram Luger's fleet, several of the Raftfleet people joined the cause of the Loyalist Army. While he was at Ceras Lake Castle, he served as ferryman and drove Freyjadour wherever he wanted to go in Falena.
After the war, his wife became the leader of Raftfleet and he was busy assisting her. He visited Lun, who wanted to become a member of the Dragon Cavalry, at Sauronix Castle, but the visits never went so well.
Role in the Game[]
Joins automatically after speaking with Kisara on the Dahak.
Logg will use his boat to drive the Prince and his party to locations on the world map that are reachable per waterway.
Logg is the first real powerhouse character that is permanently available for the party. As such, Logg is really useful at the start of the game. He ramps up a lot of HP and his attack stat is quite good aswell. In addition to that, his unite attacks are quite useful for clearing the ranks of enemies the party has to face. Even the Water Rune he comes with is pretty nice, since it allows him to heal.
Unfortunately, Logg loses a lot of power over the course of the game. His damage is not the highest, so he can't really compete with other M-range fighters. The only thing he really shines in, is his high HP stat, but that alone doesn't really make him a good pick; especially since his armor choices aren't optimal either. While using him, it is also becoming quite obvious that he is a very slow fighter and his accuracy leaves much to be desired. Even his rune choices get rather one-sided: His MP are more than underwhelming, not even unlocking the third spell slot in the normal playthrough.
Still, an option for Logg might be to make him a tank, giving him both Stamina and Armor of Gods as skills and equipping him with a Firefly Rune. Since he can eat quite a lot of damage, other members of the party are protected from the enemies attacks and can keep dealing out damage.
Logg is a good, solid fighter at the start of the game, HP-tanking big chunks of damage while being able to heal it away himself or dishing out some pain. He probably should be switched for someone else later on though.

Logg can lead an archery unit on land or an archery ship at sea and gives his unit one use of the Barrage skill. Also, if he is paired with Kisara and Lun, they form the Parent/Child unit.
- Logg is Raftfleet's jack-of-all-trades. He's Kisara's husband, and Lun's father.
- How he won Kisara's heart is one of Raftfleet's seven wonders. As in, mysterious beyond all comprehension. There was no sign that they were even going out, and then, all of a sudden, they announced their engagement.
- Logg probably told you that, back when he was young, he and Gunde used to smuggle fugitives. I hear he did the same for gladiators, although Belcoot doesn't seem to have been one of them.
- That Lunas Elf
Soon as that elf saw us, he was all, 'His Highness the Prince's castle is no place for common thieves!' Course, we did wrong, back when, but that was a real long time ago. Can't he give us a break?
- The Wife
You probably won't believe it till you see it... But the wife can drink anybody under the table. Kanakanians, even! She knows her liquors, too. She's real ricky about flavors and brands and all.
