Personality[]
Manu is an inventor, like every inventor, he likes to create things and devices that will make things more easier for the people. He loves the idea that people might find a use for his creations.
Outside of his inventing though, he is a serious guy who is simply very passionate about what he does, and got moody about people using his inventions as play things.
Story[]
Game[]
Manu was looking for a tall building where he could build his elevator but was still not able to find one. So he redesigned the elevator and installed it in the cliff on where the Cave is located in Obel. The elevator he installed on the cliff is connected to the Obel Harbor. After some time, he met a boy named Razro and the boy used the elevator he invented.
During the Island Liberation War, he was recruited by Razro and he installed an elevator inside the Dauntless. Even though he was satisfied just being given the privilege to build an Elevator on the ship, he still hated when people used it as a playground. He liked when people often used his elevator rather than the stairs. After the war, he confined himself in his home and there is rumors that he has begun work on some kind of new project.
Role in the Game[]
Speak to Manu in the Inn on Na-Nal after your headquarters is launched to sea.
- Keen: You have done well by coming here. In this room, you may confess what is in your heart and accept proper judgement.
- Manu: ... Please don't scare me too much, okay?
- Keen: Would you secretly inform me about anyone on board this ship who you think is causing problems?
- Manu: I hate people who use the stairs. If they didn't use them, maybe they'd appreciate the Elavator more.
- Manu: Well, he's a good person, don't you think? Just the fact that he understands my research is wonderful.
- Keen: Finally, quietly confess the things you wish to atone for, or all the things that you are thankful for.
- Manu: For now, I am satisfied just being given the privilege to build an Elevator on the ship.
- Keen: Then, I shall pass judgement!
- Manu: Well, I suppose that was just what I expected... Well, then...
How is it? Is the ride comfortable? It not only goes down, but goes up properly, too, right? Hehe...
The elevator is not a playground. I am troubled by people who ride it up and down for no reason at all. If they get dizzy doing it, I will not be held responsible.
The elevator is rather dull compared to Ms. Viki's teleportation... But it's okay... Because it's fun, isn't it? Up, down, up, down...
