Marica was born and raised in Citro Village. She is the youngest daughter of Elder Rajim, the chief of the village, and the younger sister of Sisuca. She is also the childhood friend of Sieg and Jale.
Her father is very protective of her (as well as her friends), and in doing so, cause Marica to try and prove she isn't a child anymore. She became friends with Sieg and Jale when she was young, and also became friends with Liu when she was 12. She is one of the first four members of Viele Wege Company.
At some point in her village life, she joined the Citro Village Defense Corps (despites her father objection) with her friends and their mentor, Dirk. She became adept at using various weapons while in the Corps.

Unlike most women in the game, Marica is spunky and quite tough. She always tries to show that she isn't weak and is willing to do anything to prove this. Despite this, she is great at taking care of people, as she once, with Erin, tended an ill old man in Cynas.

At the beginning Marica, call Sieg and Liu and head out along with them to meet Jale at the store. After this they head of out with Dirk to hunt for Laggarts. They head off to Laggarts Lair to check why the Laggarts act aggressively, while they are doing their Laggart hunting a sudden glow of light appear and the valley become a forest.
After the light is gone, their memory about the valley is gone and they started to think that the valley is always a forest. Thinking that the Laggarts nest is on the deeper part of the forest, they went deeper inside the forest ruins.
Inside the forest ruins they fought a Skull Guts a monster they never seen before. The monster are strong and hard to defeat so they went deeper inside the forest ruins. They found a book which Sieg, Marica and Jale touch, the three saw a vision of a people fighting, after this they gain a skill which help them to defeat the Skull Guts. After defeating the Skull Guts they went home.
As they are walking on their way home, Sieg, Marica and Jale remembers that the forest is a valley before, while Liu and Dirk doesn't even remember. In Citro Village Marica learns of a girl that looks exactly like her. She and her friends then set out to look for the "Marica Look-a-like". They find her in Flesaria Forest North and learn that the look-a-like came from another world and was trying to rid of a Renegade. After the team helps her defeat the Renegade, she allies with them.
After dealing with the Marica's look alike and renegade. Sieg, Marica and Jale decided to go to Cynas to find more about the book they found in the Forest Ruins, while Liu went back alone at the Citro Village and told Elder Rajim what his friends are doing.
In Cynas, they went to the library where they meet Diadora an archivist. On in their way out they of Cynas they were chase by Fergus and Conon but they were save by an Auster Folk name Vaslof.
When Marica learn that Valfred the head of The Order of the One True Way, wants the Citro Village under their control and send their troops to Citro Village. Marica helps to protect their Village.
As a member of the Viele Wege Company, she continue to assist and help Sieg to fight the Order. When Sieg and Liu are missing for days, she is very worried and when she learn that they are back, she immediately go and look after them and was very surprise when she see Liu cover in Tattoos.
After the battle with The One King, she tries to rein in leader, who tends to get carried away, but he always break free.
