Marie ran the Inn in Gregminster. She was close to the McDohl Family and she is an acquaintance of Antonio. It's also possible that she hired Camille to collect the overdue bill from Gremio.

Suikoden I[]
Before the Gate Rune Wars, She harbored Tir when he was fleeing from Imperial troops in Gregminster. Eventually, it was found out that she had harbored Tir and she fled Gregminster to take refuge in Seika. Tir offered to let her open and run an Inn in Toran Castle, where she worked through the end of the war. After the fall of the Scarlet Moon Empire, Marie returned to Gregminster and continued to run the Inn there.
Suikoden II[]
During the Dunan Unification War, she was still running the Inn in Gregminster. She welcomed Tir and Gremio back along with Sarah and the others.
Role in the Game[]
Marie joins Tir when talked to at the inn in Seika after securing Toran Castle.
Marie opens and runs the Inn in Toran Castle, where Tir can save, or stay for 30 potch per character in party.

Trivia[]
- Marie is the only innkeeper in the Suikoden series to charge you for staying (Sebastian will charge you if you volunteer to pay) and does not even tell you that she is charging you!
- Marie is still the innkeeper in Gregminster in Suikoden II, and as expected, she charges you for it.
