Story[]
Game[]
Martin was fiercely dedicated to Kooluk, and in particular, the Imperial Faction, and shunned all suggestions at cooperation with the Patriarchal Faction. He was married to Miranda, and together, the two had a daughter, Corselia. However, as Martin was often away from home and was more dedicated to the Empire than his own marriage, Miranda soon began an affair with Iskas, who attempted to also take Corselia away before she was rescued by Kyril.
Iskas' schemes led Martin to believe that Kyril and his group had kidnapped his daughter; subsequently, he chased the group around Kooluk in an attempt to rescue his daughter. Martin eventually managed to catch up with the group at the Mido Shallows after being told that Kyril had assassinated his father, the Emperor Julius. Once his officers were defeated in battle, Martin listened to what Corselia and Kyril had to say before duelling Kyril in order to be certain that he could protect his daughter while he returned to Graska to confront Iskas. Once defeated in the duel, Martin quickly recovered and set off to Graska by Kangacorn.
In Graska Palace, Martin attempted to confront Iskas over his dealings, but was merely taunted in return. When he tried to attack Iskas, he was transformed into a fishman by the power of the Evil Eye. Once Kyril, Corselia, and their companions had reached Graska Palace, the transformed Martin attacked Corselia, which forced Kyril to overcome his trauma and strike him down. Martin quickly died, but through Yohn, Kyril was able to relay a message to Corselia. In death, Martin apologized for only thinking of the Empire and urged Corselia to do what she felt was right regarding the fate of the Empire.
