On a visit to Navarre East Coast, the Hero spotted Amaury and his wife Miriel admiring the boat on the docks. They commented that they were happy it would be saved for the future. They noticed the Hero and worried that he would report them to someone at Shinra Palace, but then were relieved to hear who he was. Miriel was a chef who specialized in fish dishes. With the banning of ships people who only be able to eat fish caught from the shore. They had only been married for a month when the Hero met them, getting married soon after the Telluspharma Interception War ended.
Miriel told the Hero that she was happy that the boat would be preserved for the future. If the Telluspharma ever disappeared and The Barrier was removed, people wouldn't be able to eat fish from the ocean without boats. Amaury continued that the skills and knowledge of shipbuilding would be lost by that time and people would have to start over and make things through trial and error. Miriel was sad that people wouldn't know the taste of fish from deep in the sea, but with the boat being left for the future she was happy. They would both agree to teach their skills to the Hero's group.
Numistro was happy to meet her, and she was surprised that she was still known 200 years in the future. He told her that she was known for being the best at fish dishes. He said he was sorry that he didn't know fish dishes, but she replied that she was also confident in her meat dishes. She wasn't sure if she had anything to teach him, but she was able to pass on a recipe through the power of the stars of destiny.
Bjorn would call her a young wife, making her happy. She would tell him that she was also good at meat dishes, but wasn't sure if she was a star of destiny. He told her that if she couldn't pass it that way, she could just teach him the normal way. When she was able to pass her recipe through the power of the stars of destiny he told he that she needn't have worried. He commented that he had been worried that her meat dish wouldn't be good since she specialized in fish dishes, but said that her dish was something great. She told him that it was her husband's favorite food so she researched a lot.
