Mounted Attack

The Mounted Attack is a Unite Attack in Suikoden III.

Suikoden III[]

Sgt. Joe and Shabon[]

The Mounted attack deals normal damage to target and foes in area, then Sgt. Joe becomes Unbalanced. In it Shabon rides Sgt. Joe and spins her arms around in a windmill fashion. As she is doing that Sgt. Joe runs toward the opponent and slams into them, knocking him and Shabon down.

Hugo and Fubar[]

Though not technically a combination attack as it does not required you to select the combination icon, its still worth mentioning. Hugo starts the battle on top of Fubar and when doing normal damage Fubar flies up and attacks the enemy with his talons, then lands and Hugo attacks them with his Dagger. Both of them swing only once (all is combined in that one attack). Also while in the formation all damage will be divide among the two of them so you'll take less damage. However any status changes like Poison or Sleep affect both of them.

Franz and Ruby[]

Though not technically a combination attack as it does not required you to select the combination icon, its still worth mentioning. Franz starts the battle on top of Ruby and when doing normal damage Ruby shoots three fireballs at the opponent, then flies up and toward the opponent where Franz strikes it with his spear. Also while in the formation all damage will be divide among the two of them so you'll take less damage. However any status changes like Poison or Sleep affect both of them.

Futch and Bright[]

Though not technically a combination attack as it does not required you to select the combination command. Futch starts the battle on top of Bright and when doing normal damage Bright shoots a fireball at the opponent, then flies up and toward the opponent where Futch strikes it with his sword. Animations only show each of them hit just once but their swings still count in total damage.

Also while in the formation all damage will be divide among the two of them so you'll take less damage. Healing items will divide the benefit between the two, and one Sacrificial Jizo will affect both of them. However any status changes like Poison or sleep affect both of them as well.

This mount pair is required in order to perform the unite attack Dragon Knight B with Sharon.
