Mukumuku is the leader of the Five Squirrel Squad. When Nanami was younger, she spotted a squirrel and named him Mukumuku. Nanami also introduced him to Riou and Jowy and soon they became childhood friends. When he grew up, he established the Five Squirrel Squad and he named the rest of the Five Squirrel Squad members.

During the Dunan Unification War, Mukumuku joined the New State Army and helped Riou on his fight against the Highland Army. After the war, he returned to the forest from where he sprung.
Role in the Game[]
There are two ways to recruit Mukumuku:
- Examine the large tree behind Genkaku's Dojo in Kyaro three times before meeting Nanami.
- Wander the path from Greenhill to the Muse/Greenhill Border until he enters your active party. There must be a free spot in the party, and chances are higher if less people are in it. A True Holy Rune and a Champion's Rune can speed up the time it takes to get him in the party. Also, note that battles are not required, but rather standing still for over 30 minutes makes the chances better. This way is not recommended for the impatient, but is required for the remaining squirrel characters.
Despite his appearance, Mukumuku has very solid stats, as all monster-type characters. Mukumuku excels at strength, defense and speed, which compensates the fact he cannot equip any type of gear. Also, he is a long-range character, which can keep him safe in the back row, as his HP is lower than most monster characters.
