Net Fishing

Net Fishing is an activity that can be found in Suikoden IV.

Description[]

It is managed by Shiramine, and available at the rear deck of the Ship.

It consists in casting a net from the ship while it sails, and the fish or items will be caught in the net as it moves forward. It is even possible to catch fish if the boat isn't moving. Every now and then, you should haul up the net and pick up your catch. Among the fish and seashells, it is possible to haul up sunken treasures as well, especially on the sites of naval battles.

Wrongly listed in the guide book as "Fire Rune Piece" for the Mountain Mass Island Area, and "Ocean Rune Piece" for the Northern Ocean.

Tips[]

The Ship doesn't need to be moved around when Net Fishing, it is possible to just stand iddle, waiting a certain time and pulling back the net. In most cases it is more convenient to do it that way.
