Background[]
A former Imperial Faction officer in charge of Haruna, Ornela lamented the foolishness of the factions which lead the Kooluk Empire to it's demise.
Appearance[]
Ornela has long, blonde hair tied into a ponytail. She is a beautiful young woman who wears the traditional garb of an officer in the Imperial Faction.
Personality[]
Ornela was a member of the Kooluk Empire's Imperial Faction. Unlike her brothers, Martin and Busk, Ornela was open to negotiations with the frustrated Patriarchal Faction over their role in the administration of Kooluk.
In charge of the Haruna region, Ornela was known as a good administrator and rarely delegated her duties to her subordinates. However, she was unable to do anything about Haruna's food shortage or any of the other problems affecting the nation at the time.

Suikoden Tactics[]
Fighting against Kyril and his allies during their initial infiltration of Kooluk territory, Ornela later joined his group when Iskas' plans for Kooluk were fully revealed. Ornela trusted Kyril's group, unlike Busk, as she quickly grasped the situation at hand without being tied down by political constraints. She often had to reassure Busk that the group would not turn on them.
Following the defeat of Iskas, and the collapse of the Empire, Ornela lamented the foolishness of the factions involved who brought the nation to its death.
Role in the Game[]
Ornela and Busk join as NPC (Non-Playable Character) allies in Chapter 18, and offically join your party afterward.
Ornela's actually great if you want to spend hours at the end of the game grinding in the Ruins of Obel. She levels up nicely, and when fully developed, is my personal go-to spear user. She's the fastest in her class, and the strongest after Lino (third if you give a Hand of God to Reinhold, but there are much better candidates than he). Ornela also has great EVA, defensive skills that activate reliably enough when leveled up, and a fun (if difficult because of having to get Jeane into position) unite. There's a lot to like about Ornela.
