Pest Rat (ペストラット; Pesuto Ratto) is a boss in Suikoden II.
Description[]
A large monster of unknown origin who dwelled for a time in the Two River Sewers. It is a large furry blue demon with three red eyes, and two very large horns. It seems to prefer complete darkness, and attacks Riou and his group after they walk into its lair while pursuing Chaco. While not known completely, Chaco may have been leading the group there so they would run into the monster. Perhaps the monster was Chaco's trump card in case the party caught up to him, or at least, he knew its favorite hiding spot.
As a Boss[]
The Pest Rat is very fast for its size, often attacking the party twice each turn. More often than not, it will use a ramming attack to knock its target off their feet. The Pest rat also likes to cause a cave-in, and occasionally exhale a poisonous green mist.
