Raven is the self proclaimed, the unmatched master thief, he is also known as "Crow" and his modus operandi is stealing family trees. He was caught by Oboro before but unfortunately he escaped using his Raven Rune. Oboro also give him the "Phantom Thief" and "Midnight Raven" nicknames.
During the Sun Rune War, Raven stole the Raulbel's family tree in Sable. After Solis Raulbel told Freyjadour Falenas, it was brought to the attention of Oboro, who identified the theft as that frequently perpetrated by the infamous "Crow" and together they planed to nab the culprit. For the plan to work, Shigure and Freyjadour searched for potential bait in the Ceras Lake Castle.
They found Egbert Aethelbald, who has his family tree chart on his person, and he gladly lent it to them. To set the trap for Raven, Freyjadour gave the Athelbald Family Tree Chart to Oboro and Oboro asked Taylor to spread the word about it. The next step was to store the Athelbald Family Tree Chart in Chuck's Storage Room.
The night came, Raven took the bait and the trap was sprung. Freyjadour recognized Raven's talent and asked him to join the Loyalist Army but Raven had one condition before he joined: "Oboro must bow before Raven and beg him." Oboro did what Raven said, but in such a nonchalant manner that it only frustrated Raven. After this, Raven joined up with the Loyalist Army. After the war, he swears off thievery until Oboro's return. In the meantime, he volunteers to help Fuyo's agency with stakeouts.
Role in the GameEdit
After getting the Tablet of Stars, talk to Solis in Sable and offer him to help. Afterwards, talk to Oboro in Ceras Lake Castle. Next, there will be some dialog with Egbert Aethelbald in Marina 's Inn, Oboro in his office and, lastly, again in Marina 's Inn. When inside the warehouse, look near the top right corner to find him. If you fail to find him in time, others will catch him and you can talk to him in your jail. Ask him to join.
Note: You must have recruited Egbert, Oboro, Marina, and Taylor to recruit Raven.
Raven's rune makes him virtually invincible to physical attack in dungeons and some outdoor areas. Focus on boosting his magic defense and he'll be unstoppable.

- Raven´s what we call a "phantom thief." "Midnight Raven" is our nickname for him, whether he likes it or not.
- His Raven Rune lets him hide in darkness. He never uses it for anything other than larceny, but I guess it might come in handy if you were, say, exploring a cave.
- An uppity client had us capture Raven one time, but then refused to pay us what he promised. So when we handed Raven over, we didn´t mention his Raven Rune, and thanks to that, he busted out easily. You´d think he´d be grateful!
- Claim of Responsibility
Ah ha ha ha ha ha! I took all the letters that were inside this box! I am, of course, lying! Ah ha ha ha ha!
- Chart of the Barows Family Tree
I told Luserina I'd go steal it back for her, but she told me, 'No, thank you!' She just won't admit how badly she wants it. Ah ha ha ha ha!
