Some time ago, Reinhold was reading a letter, behind a building. Mitsuba passed by, out of sheer coincidence, but Reinhold apparently thinks that she "saw" that letter. From then on, Reinhold does anything Mitsuba tell him to.
During the Island Liberation War, Mitsuba along with Reinhold was doing their job to con people on Na-Nal island. Apparently Razro was doing his round on Na-Nal Island to gather people and saw Reinhold. Reinhold told Razro that he got his wound from a woman in the Na-Nal town square. Razro went to look for Mitsuba and got into a duel with her. After Mitsuba was defeated, Mitsuba and Reinhold joined the Island Liberation Navy. While on board on the Dauntless, he opened a training hall, where people trained to increase their fighting ability. After the war, he is still being worked to death by Mitsuba, because she knows his weakness.
Suikoden Tactics[]
At the Fall of Kooluk, Reinhold along with Mitsuba still do their past job and this time their next victim is Kyril, a young man who is searching about the Rune Cannon in Kooluk Empire. After Mitsuba is defeated they joined Kyril's band. Reinhold and Mitsuba was being scolded by Jeremy and even got close to him. After the fighting end, it is still unknown on what happen to Reinhold.

Reinhold sets up a Training Hall where you can fight your fellow crew members and gain prizes and experience points.
- There are 5 levels in Reinhold's Training Hall.
- You can max out the levels of all characters to 99 in Reinhold's Training Hall.
- You can visit Reinhold at the 5th Deck inside the Dauntless.

- Reinhold: Let me see... I would like for him to come to the training hall more often, so I may train alongside him.
- Keen: Finally, quietly confess the things you wish to atone for, or all the things that you are thankful for.
- Reinhold: Thus far, I have pinched quite a few from various people... B-But that was all under Lady Mitsuba's orders! Oh...
- Keen: Then, I shall pass judgement!
- Reinhold: Oh? Ohhh? Have I been forgiven? Have I?
- Reinhold: Nooo... whoa!! I-I cannot stand this!
I had this room made for everyone to train in. I shall instruct you from beginning to end. No need to stand on ceremony.
Ms. Mitsuba is a good sparring partner. That is all.
The use of the training hall is rather poor. This is a grave matter!
If you return to Merseto in Chapter 16 or beyond, you'll find Reinhold in the Gossip menu. Speak to him, and then head to the Terana Plain, where you'll be ambushed by Mitsuba. Beat her in a duel, then return to Merseto and report to Reinhold.
Reinhold's actual stats are super average, but he can equip all the best stuff. Make his Defense and Attack higher and he will be a decent fighter.
