Rikimaru is the Chian Star in Suikoden II.

Rikimaru is a wandering swordsman on a quest for revenge. Someone dear to him was killed, and now he seeks the murderer. Before he achieves this goal, though, he runs out of money and ends up starved in a little village where he is found by Riou.

When he ran out of money and was starving at Ryube, Riou helped by paying for his meal, 3000 potch. In exchange Rikimaru offered to join Riou and fought by his side until the end of the war. After the war, he traveled north once again in search of the object of his revenge.
Role in the Game[]
Find him collapsed in Ryube and offer to buy him dinner for 3000 potch. If you missed him in Ryube, Rikimaru could be found later in Coronet, again paying for his 3000 potch meal.
Rikimaru is possibly the first character that Riou can recruit as a very early-game physical heavy hitter and tank (If Riou pays for his dinner in Ryube) with his HP skyrocketing as he levels. He wields a two handed sword in battle.

Rikimaru can participate in the Manly Attack. With a Cup of Promise equipped to either him or Amada, the unite attack has a chance to inflict Knockdown on targets.

- Rikimaru shares some similarities with Wan Fu from Suikoden III. Both are recruited after paying for their meal and, are on a quest for vengeance against unspecified subjects and are referred as manly. They are also quite similar in appearance and behaviour.
