Rina is the Tenken Star in Suikoden II.
She also appears in Genso Suikogaiden Vol. 2.

Background[]
Rina inherited her fortune telling talent from her mother. When Rina and Eilie were young, their parents were killed by bandits. Since then, she took care of her little sister. She and her sister traveled together as traveling performers to earn money. As a guest in the circus they met Bolgan who was treated badly by his masters, but Bolgan insisted to escape when Rina told him to. After sometime Bolgan paid his debt and joined them on their travels.

Rina has black long hair and brown eyes, and has big rounded earrings. She wears a black and pink dress and a green shawl.
Personality[]
She has charming personality and don't hesitate to use her assets to get what she wants, such as when she charmed a guard in order for the party to go through North Sparrow Pass.
Story[]
Suikoden II[]
She joined the New State Army by coincidence. First, they ended up traveling to Kyaro with Riou and Jowy Atreides when the pair escaped from Viktor's mercenaries. After that, they traveled to Highland through the Tenzan Pass, but due to lack of business in Highland, they headed back towards South Window. At Coronet, her party got stuck due to Highland's ban on ships from leaving port. There she ran into Riou and obtained a ride across Dunan Lake. They traveled together to South Window, but after South Window was also defeated by the Highland Army, she joined the New State Army along with Eilie and Bolgan. She stayed at North Window, and was given the position of "Royal Guard".
Genso Suikogaiden Vol. 2[]
After the Dunan Unification War, they traveled to Milit Village, where they put on another performance. But during this, they were swept up with a bandit raid by a group calling themselves the "Fire Bringer". They helped defeat this group of frauds who were revealed to be fakes using the legend for personal gain.
Role in the Game[]
Rina joins automatically in Coronet after securing passage to South Window.
Rina is an L Ranged fighter, which means she can attack from all positions in the party. Rina has 3 Rune slots completely free, which is a rarity amongst most characters. With those 3 rune slots, you can make her quite the fighter from the back row, which again, is a rarity. However, many players would argue that her true power is in her magic, although her only above average rune affinity is water. Rina can also affix the Blue Gate Rune, one of twenty characters in the game. Rina also has higher magic defense than average, so when placed in the back row of a party, Rina can last long in battle and deal great damage.

Trivia[]
- If the player attemps to re-enter North Sparrow Pass with Nanami after they escape from Kyaro with Flik and Viktor, Nanami pretends to seduce the guard in the same way Rina did, but then tries to attack the guard instead. The guard, knowing this trick, drags her back to the party and prohibits them from passing through.
- Strangely, Rina is not selectable for the mission to Greenhill despite being of the appropriate age; she's younger than Hix, who can be selected.
