During the Sun Rune War, when the House of Godwin infested Gordius, Roog, Rahal, Nick and Freyjadour Falenas sneaked in the cave where the Dragon Horses laid their eggs and found out that they took them as hostages. After rescuing the Dragon Horses Eggs, the Dragon Cavalry joined the Loyalist Army.
As a member, he helped the Loyalist Army and stayed at their castle until the end of the war. After the war, he becomes Commander of the newly-formed Sun Palace Dragon Brigade, which defends Falena along with the Queen's Knights.

- Roog´s a fiery swordsman. Quick as a whirlwind, strong as the stormy seas. He´s head of the Assault Squad, the Dragon Cavalry´s vanguard. When he and Lance go charging out together, they´re unstoppable.
- Every Dragon Cavalry trainee in Gordius sees him as a big brother figure. According to Rahal, though, that´s because Roog and the trainees are mentally about the same age.
- Long ago, he tussled with Lance -- who never let humans near him -- an entire day to prove himself a worthy partner.
I hear she's been Your Highness' ally ever since you founded the army. That's one tough girl! She's the first girl I've ever seen who doesn't fear the dragon horses at all, and she wasn't even born in Sauronix!
Logg came in the other day, pale as death, and started yelling at us. He kept saying, 'Which of you's been tryin' to sweet-talk my daughter?!' I wonder what that was all about...
