Rope Climbing Game

Rope Climbing (きこりの結び目; Kikori no Musubime) is a minigame in Suikoden II.

How to play[]

The three players are positioned at the bottom of a cliff, where three knotted ropes hang. At each player's turn, a choice must be made. Either you can cast a die, or place a marker, a sort of anti-slip device, on the rope. When the die is cast, the player can climb as many knots on the rope as there are points on the die. Casting a one will result in the coming of a flying squirrel who will hit the head of the unlucky player. Surprised, he will let go of the rope and fall down. If this player had placed a marker, the fall will be stopped on it. In the other case, he will fall until he reaches the bottom of the cliff. There are 26 knots on each rope, and the goal of the game is to be the first to reach the top.
