Rosh is a minor character in Suikoden.
Description[]
A sharpsighted soldier stationed at Kwaba Fortress, Rosh recognized Tir McDohl when he was fleeing Gregminster and nearly arrested him; the only thing that prevented him to do so was his superior officer, Ain Gide.
Biography[]
A sharpsighted officer under the command of Ain Gide at Kwaba Fortress, Rosh was stationed at the gates of the fortress, keeping a careful eye to not let fugitives pass by him.
In the year SY 455, Tir McDohl, the fugitive son of Teo McDohl who was heading towards Seika, passed by Rosh's station. Though Tir and his party were using aliases, Rosh nearly let them pass but quickly noticed that he strongly resembled Tir McDohl. Despite a ploy to distract the group made by Gremio, who was threatening to cut off Tir's head for causing so much trouble to the group, Rosh remained unconvinced that he could be anyone other than Tir McDohl.
The stir caused by Rosh and the group eventually drew the attention of Ain Gide, who chided Rosh, saying that Tir McDohl wouldn't be seen dressing as a beggar. Ain Gide allowed the group to pass, despite Rosh's protestations, but gave Tir a message as they passed, telling Tir to take good care of his father; this let him know that, just as Rosh had not been fooled, so too had Ain Gide seen through their ploy.
Rosh's fate during the Toran Liberation War is unknown, but given the amount of casualties on the Imperial side, he could very well have perished in the Battle of Gregminster without any mention at all.
