The Salamander is a type of enemy in the Suikoden series.
Suikoden II[]
They are a monster bird (according to the official Konami guide in Japanese) whose whole body is covered in flames. They attack by breathing fire from its mouth. They seem to be a weaker version of the AirLizard found in the Tinto Pass later in the game. They have three different attacks: mid-range physical attack against one party member, a magical mid-range attack against one party member, and a magical attack against one row.
