Seneca is a playable character in Suikoden Tactics.
Friend and assistant to Walter, she assisted him in his search for information on Rune Cannons. After Walter's death, she accompanies Walter's son, Kyril, on his similar quest, supporting him whenever she can.

An assistant of Walter who continued to accompany him on his journey after his expulsion from the Scarlet Moon Empire, Seneca was a skilled crossbow user with a cool streak that hid her compassionate nature.

She disliked the pirate, Sigurd, who crossed her in Middleport when, as a liaison to Schtolteheim Reinbach II, he was extremely unhelpful in the group's pursuit of Rune Cannons. When Walter and Andarc headed to battle alongside Brandeau and Edgar against Steele, it was Seneca who was tasked with protecting the young Kyril.
Not nearly as worrisome as her companion, Andarc, Seneca often had to keep Andarc from dragging up the subject of Walter's death at his hands as he tried to make amends throughout Kyril's recovery. Seneca enjoyed teasing Andarc, sometimes in regards to his diary, and even went so far as to start her own in protest to not being allowed to read Andarc's diary. She later abandoned the endeavour, declaring it to be "a hassle".
For Kyril, Seneca fulfilled something of a mother/sister role in his life. Although Seneca was very much opposed to the idea of being a "mother figure" at her age, she did seem to be the prominent female figure in Kyril's life. While she didn't make the choice to lie about Walter's profession, she did go along with Andarc's fabrication until Kyril learned the truth.
Seneca's main role outside of battle was to gather information, the facts she gathered usually indicating Kyril and the others as to any leads in the area. Her cool and calculating nature also led her to be able to take command of a situation if need be. She also seemed to have a respect for authority; she continually called Flare En Kuldes "Your Highness" and "Princess" even after the Obel royalty insisted that she call her "Flare".
After defeating Iskas in 309, Seneca tried to persuade Kyril not to enter the energy dome created by the Evil Eye, but was unsuccessful. Much to her considerable relief, he returned soon after. After the events in Kooluk, Seneca returned to the Scarlet Moon Empire, helping the needy until Kyril left on a journey. After that, it seems Seneca remained in Scarlet Moon with Andarc as Corselia and Simeon searched for Kyril.
Role in the Game[]
Seneca joins you at the start of the game.
She's good. Criticals a lot. Make sure you give her a Berzerker Belt after maxing her Sniper and Bull's Eye skills. Great in the early going, but her inability to ride owls means you'll be using the other archer ladies much more in the second half of the game. That's a good excuse to max her Battle Lust early, though. It'll pay off. Keep her leveled up to make use of her awesome unite with Andarc which dominates the game until the last few levels (all unites get useless late in the game).
