The Shell Venus (シェルビーナス, Sheru Bīnasu) is a boss in Suikoden.
Description[]
The Shell Venus is a strange shell-like being living at the far end of Shasarazade Fortress, near the flood gate, presumably placed there by Sonya Shulen to guard it. It was encountered by a party of members of the Toran Liberation Army, on their way to close the flood gate of the fortress. The party was led by Tir McDohl, leader of the army, and Viktor, always willing to give a hand in dangerous missions. They were accompanied by four other members of the army. Although very little is known on this mysterious creature, it is interesting to note that Viktor wasn't surprised to see it there, upon arriving on the spot.
In order to proceed and fulfill their mission, the Liberation Army's members had to fight Shell Venus, which despite its outward appearance, was a considerably tough opponent. It had the ability to cast a formidable lightning spell upon the whole group and could also throw a large pearl-like missile at high speed, harming a fighter of the front row of the party.
