Sigfried (ジークフリード; Jiikufuriido) is the Tenman Star or the Tentai Star in Suikoden II, depending on who you choose.

Background[]
Sigfried is a unicorn that has lived in the Unicorn Village located between the two trees deep within the Kobold Forest for over 200 years. He tested the bravery of many warriors through trials but the time comes when no one has come to take the trial. The time passed by and it became a mere legend.
Appearance[]
Sigfried is a white unicorn with a long horn on his head.
Personality[]
Siegfried seems to be rather serious. He seems to follow a very specific set of rules, and when one steps outside of those rules, he will even threaten them with his magic. He seems to be around to help warriors, such as Hix, mature into "men" as a sort of coming of age ritual. However, when his job is done, he leaves and returns to the forest, so he may not be too concerned with the human world. According to Richmond he is "only interested in girls" and will only join Riou if he brings along a "maiden" with him.

Game[]
During Dunan Unification War, Tengaar and Hix went to Kobold Village and learned about the Test of the Unicorn. After collecting three different items, Hix went into the forest north of the village to search for Tengaar. In the back of the forest, Sigfried appeared and he asked Hix to give Tengaar over or he would kill him. Hix declined and after proving that he is a courageous warrior, Sigfried left.
When Riou brought a Listening Crystal and a maiden, Sigfried joined the New State Army. After the war, he returned quietly to the forest.
Role in the Game[]
Go through the Kobold Forest with a pure maiden in the party. One of Badeaux's Listening Crystals has to be used, and Hix and Tengaar must be recruited. Most young females are considered pure maidens.
