Profile[]
Background[]
Skald is the Admiral of the Island Nations Federation Fleet and the Captain of the flagship of the Obel Maritime Fleet, the Lino En Kuldes. To the people of the Island Nations, he's their kind-hearted and grandfatherly protector, but to pirates, he's the most frightening sea demon imaginable. Skald is the father of eight children, most notably his son Ferid and his daughter Bernadette.
Appearance[]
Personality[]
According to Georg Prime, Skald is a good-natured and reasonable man, and will listen to honest people. He likes to play mind games on Bernadette, who usually takes everything he says seriously. However, he truly cares about her welfare. Skald wanted Bernadette to see the world and find out who she really is, so he played his mind game again on Bernadette when Freyjadour asked for help. When Bernadette fell for it and went with the Prince, Skald asked Georg to take good care of her.
Story[]
Game[]
Skald was sent by the Island Nations as ambassador to Princess Lymsleia's coronation. When the Lino En Kuldes docked at Nirva Island for supplies, he was expecting a Loyalist Army will come to meet him, but he didn't expect that Freyjadour Falenas would come to see him himself. At the end of the negotiation, Skald told the Prince that the Island Nations sees the civil war in Falena as an internal issue and that it was up to Falena to decide which side is the legitimate power. He also explained how the Island Nations had people of influence who were close to the Godwins. These influential people hoped to use the coronation ceremony as a chance to deepen ties with the Godwins, although Skald promised to do as much as he could to hold them back and preserve his country's neutrality. Skald felt terrible that Bernadette was the only one who he could send back with Freyjadour.
Later on, Lucretia sent Skald a message that Armes had sided with the Godwins. When it turned out to be true, Skald sailed his ship directly towards Falena, giving Shula an excuse to pull back the Armes Western Marine Corps. After the war's end, Skald hunted down Yahr and Nelis for destroying the Rune cannon shell left at the armory of the Island Nations.
Trivia[]
