The Sun Rune Incarnation (太陽の紋章の化身, Taiyō no Monshō no Keshin) is the final boss of Suikoden V.

Details

This was the incarnation of the Sun Rune, which Marscal Godwin transformed into in the depths of the Sindar ruins in the Ashtwal Mountains.

It looked similar to a giant butterfly, with the figure of a woman, visually similar to its previous bearer, Queen Arshtat in its center. In battle, it is supported by a Guardian Heat Sprite and a Guardian Light Sprite, who both attacked the party and healed the Sun Rune Incarnation. These guardian sprites would also revive themselves eventually even if defeated.

The Sun Rune Incarnation specialised in powerful sun magic attacks.

Trivia

• This is the fourth final boss to be a rune incarnation, behind the Golden Hydra, the Beast Rune, and the True Wind Rune incarnations.
• The incarnation is a moth because Falena in Italian means "moth".
