The Beetle Grubs (地蟲; Jimushi) are a group that appear in Genso Suikoden: The Woven Web of a Century.
Description[]
The name Beetle Grubs is not an official name. Instead, it is the common name for the members of the special forces of The Pinnacles. They do not operate publicly or in the open, but single-mindedly take on the dirty work done behind the scenes to support the activities of The Pinnacles.
Members have included Basalt Lugam, Neos, and even Regius when he was young.

Etymology[]
- The Japanese name for the Beetle Grubs is 地蟲 (Jimushi). There are two famous characters from anime and games with the same name: Jubei Jimushi from Basilik and Jimushi from the Shinobi game.
- The kanji used for this group is slightly irregular, with it usually being written as 地虫. The meaning is scarabaeid beetle grubs, but it can also be used for any insect (worm, etc.,) that lives in the soil.
